A man's heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps
Again, God reminded me that He has me - even when I think I know the way - or want the way to be my own.
whenever I have tried to do it "my way" I have failed... but God is so faithful to get us back on track... even rescue us from where we have ended up -
I thought about it when I was walking the beach... there are a few different paths you can take - you can walk along the water line, you can walk where the tide goes in - or you can walk way up on the beach. Each place has seashells scattered along it - each place looks promising - feels enticing... but only one of those ways will have what I am looking for - or "what God has for me" - so even when I take the wrong path - whether it's because something has caught my eye or led me there - God is a God of second (third, fourth etc) chances... He is either going to deliver you from that place - or create something in that place for you to redeem you/your situation.
I truly believe he can take things the devil has caused for harm & turn them - use them for your good....

So, I may have taken the longest - most "wind-ey" trail - but I am still going to get to the "top"
